Abstract
Background: Adolescence is a period of transition between childhood and adulthood.
Sexual behavior is one of the forms that teenagers do during their transition. Adolescent
sexual behavior is a form of sexual urge or a desire made by adolescents, both men and
women. Sexual behavior carried out by teenagers on average is a form of desire and
curiosity from teenagers. Adolescent sexual behavior is strongly influenced by internal
and external factors, internal comes from within the adolescent itself and external is the
physical and non-physical environment. Factors that influence adolescent sexual behavior
focus on peers, parents and family, rural/urban, adolescent age, media and parenting style.
Objective: This study aims to describe what are the factors that influence sexual behavior
in adolescents
