Abstract

The tourism sector is the leading sector of Balinese society. The implementation of the policy
to limit the entry of international tourist arrivals related to controlling the Covid-19 pandemic
has an impact on the lack of foreign tourist arrivals to Bali. The impact is that many hotels
have stopped operating. Termination of Employment (PHK) is an option for tourism business.
Workers who have an impact on termination of employment are forced to return to their villages.
One of the workers who have an impact on the termination of employment is a resident of
Gianyar Regency, especially the resident of Petak Village. Entrepreneurship education is carried
out with the aim of improving the welfare of the Petak Village community. Entrepreneurship
education has a concept as a solution to the problems faced by the people of Petak Village at this
time. Entrepreneurship education is education for potential entrepreneurs to have the courage,
independence, and skills so as to minimize failure in business. Through this education, people
get enlightenment related to entrepreneurial ideas. The method used in this service activity is
to provide counseling and training. Extension activities using the lecture method, question and
answer, and discussion methods. Furthermore, the training was carried out by making processed
products, packaging techniques and marketing techniques. The result of this activity is that the
Petak Village community has opened up about the importance of entrepreneurship in improving
the welfare of the Petak Village community. With this training, the public has been able to hone
and optimize their potential for entrepreneurship.
