Abstract

The complexity of the operational activities at Waka Hotels & Resorts would be difficult to be implemented without a computerized Accounting Information System. Therefore, a reliable system was needed to make the operational activities done efficiently and effectively. During the implementation of the computer-based Accounting Information System, Waka Hotels & Resorts had not known the effectiveness yet. The variables used in this study were comprised of six variables; they were data security, time, accuracy, variation of the report, the relevance, and physical comfort. The analysis technique applied in this research was quantitative analysis with measurement techniques using Likert scale. The results of this study showed the effectiveness of computer-based Accounting Information System at Waka Hotels & Resorts obtained a total score of 5.485. Compared with a range of values for each criterion, scores are included in Criterion Very Effectively (CVE) = 5.283,6 ≤ CVE ≤ 6.290
